There’s some great irony going on here with the other top post of the subreddit currently being about GoPro dieing, and people mentioning that they hardly use their action cams anymore since its time consuming to edit footage, and even then, POV footage just isnt that exciting to watch.
If you have a genuine use case for an action cam, its seems like a solid price. I dont record 99% of my rides anymore, but I may consider bringing it for an epic ride.

Brutal for me. My trusty (mostly) GP8 finally started borking itself and I’ve tried everything to no avail.
Bought a GP12 during a sale, and it dropped audio on a clip day one of use lol. So far, been fine but… It’s just very telling.
While I’m not the hugest fan of DJI and insta360 as an overall package, as GoPro has so much platform development on them… Having a camera that fuckin works is worth its weight in gold. And I suppose this may be the last GoPro I ever own. If I don’t just return it (shrugs)
I’m so accustomed to seeing insta and DJI as inferior, but the time has finally come. As the osmo 5 and ace 2 look objectively better than gopro. And insta even fixed their audio.
