So I was cycling home last night and this happened, probably due to the last ride I had with it as it took some heavy hits but I definitely didn’t expect this and don’t know what’s the issue LOL

Looks like a freehub issue to me. Maybe a sticky or damaged pawl. Most modern hubs are relatively easy to service is you have the tools to get the casette off. Do you know your hub model?
When was the last time you serviced the hub?
