f 5’4. looking for a daily commuter and just something that i can ride on trails for fun/exercise. found this trek on marketplace, it’s currently selling for $275 which seems a little overpriced to me but i really wouldn’t know. thoughts?
$100. Not unless you are nostalgic about downtube shifters.

It will make a fine beginner road bike if it fits. The trick to a quick fit assessment is to sit on the bike, with your hands on the hoods ( most common riding position). When you look down, the front axle should be hidden by the handlebar.

Downtube shifters take some getting used to.
