The price difference between what this is worth and the asking price is >$2000.

  2. Crazy to ask 4K for this bike. I own a Look 695 ultegra 11s / Mavic carbon wheel set.
If I sell it, I would ask around 1500-1700 (fully serviced)

  3. You could get into a 2025 carbon road bike with a decent groupo from most manufacturers at that price.

  4. $500 coz it’ll cost about the same for a full service n any part replacements

It’s the brand, Look. Just take a look at what the cost of a new Look frame is. For some people, to be able to flash that brand on the road for a much lower (even if very high) price is something they might go for.

At a pawn shop… I wonder if it’s stolen and he doesn’t want to sell it for some reason. Have you checked the serial number against online databases?

Maybe $1000…. all those components are so old.

A 15 year old bike that was definitely stolen and pawned? With rim brakes?! $150

$4000 is way too much. My 785 Huez RS disc didn’t cost over $5000 and it’s 2019.

I know that cash America pawn. Saw that same bike too! Even in the best situation, this bike has some major flaws that are impossible to… ahem, look past. Proprietary seat post which may or may not fit you, which has to be hack sawed down to the rider. Proprietary BB that’s again specific to look., very hard to come by, and which if in poor shape totals the bike. It sure is pretty though. I can agree with 900 for the groupset or the novelty of it. It’s a huge risk buying used carbon and I wouldn’t do it personally.
