Just got back into mountain biking and picked up this TJ last spring. Planning trips to the UP and hitting Boynes bike park. Wondering if there is any upgrades that would help me level up a little bit. Are these brakes decent enough? Hope these photos are okay. Sorry I’m not a photographer nor artsy.

Can’t remotely tell what brakes this has, but im sure they will be fine. No descents at Copper are longer then 600ish feet and being on a hardtail you probably won’t be going enduro race speed.
I personally would want full suspension at Copper or Marquette but it’s not needed. Enjoy you will be fine, if you have any specific questions on either location I can answer any you may have.
In terms of bike, I’d go tubeless if you haven’t already and lose the dork disk assuming your bike is setup correctly.
