I got my new gravel bike last week. I switched from a fully equipped aluminum gravel bike to a steel version which is a lot lighter and much faster. I reduced my commuting time from 60 to 50 minutes.
I also switched from a big commuter pack to two smaller ones (Ortlieb Gravel packs) which improved stability and reduced weight.
What I love most is the super light fender/rack combination (hebie alumee).
I have also had problems with my front derailleur freezing tight during winter rides so I opted for a 1x GRX group.
