Any 3/32 6/7/8 speed chain will work. The drive chain and the timing chain will both be 3/32.
Edit: plan on buying 3 chains. One for the drive chain, and two for the timing chain. It generally takes a bit more than one (~116 link) chain to make a timing chain.

The length is arbitrary. You’ll need two 7-speed chains. A standard length will work fine for the rear chain and for the synch chain you’ll need to make some measurements. Check out this [Sheldon Brown link](https://sheldonbrown.com/synchain.html) for specifics.

After you got your chains and quick links, make sure you have the correct spanners for the eccentric. Most need a pin spanner and they have grub screws in the bottom bracket to tighten them down.
I like to install the timing chain first.
You are going to loosen the eccentric to install the chain and then tighten until you have maybe 1/2″ of deflection. Spin the cranks and make sure there is no tightness or binding. Adjust until you have a good balance of spinning and not binding then tighten the eccentric down.
Then you can proceed to the drive chain and install as normal.
And, if you want you can change your timing. Matched is most popular, but some teams like 90 degrees out.
