My K2 cruiser was stolen (lime green bike). I loved that bike and put maybe a couple thousand miles on it. It morphed from a neglected cruiser that I got from my friend for helping him move to a ultra reliable and comfortable commuter. I had just repainted it for the third time, greased all the bearings, put on new grips and replaced all the cables and took off my baskets.
The Batch Urban surprised me at my local used bike shop. I was looking for a used bike similar in proportions to that big old cruiser, and this was the closest in size and vibe. It's simple, and I can see the potential to make it better. I've never considered a new bike, but it seemed to be a good balance of simplicity, and size.
The bars need adjustment, I'd like a squishier seat, and that color has got to go. A new seat and a rattle can will go a long way to making this a perfect replacement for my old friend.
