Since I dislike hydros I’m interested in all mechanical disc brake solutions.
Today I stumbled across these new Juin Tech caliper iterations; they go by the name „F1-S“. Does anyone know anything about them?
Juin Tech hybrid calipers are well known to be a solid, well performing offering for those of us who still use cable actuated disc brakes. This new model seems to only feature a dual piston design (other Juin Tech models have as much as 6).
They also shifted the wear adjuster to the side. This all looks like a small design update of the regular F1, but I am intrigued by the chart stating 9 out of 10 stopping power. By Juin Techs own metric, this is as much as their 6 piston offering.
