Title – been stuck between these two. Getting my first "serious" bike since my teenage Walmart bike!
- I will be riding the bike socially (in groups) and solo. Mostly paved, but I plan on exploring some trails later on. Also some light bikepacking.
- My main concern with the DSX: It has flat bars… and also 1x drivetrain, which I'm cool with, but the added nuance of a 2x drivetrain is appealing.
- My main concern with the Gestalt: It has Tektro mechanical disc brakes, which I heard are awful.
