Hi all,
I got a new Reserve 40/44 wheelset at a very good price online but it came with a chip on the rear rim near the valve. I’m torn between sending it back or ride like that. It was the last pair available so probably exchange and I’m tempted to just ride it. What do you think, would you keep it and ride it like that? Thanks !

While it’s probably fine, I personally would not find that acceptable for a brand new wheel.
It’s probably fine. Carbon wheel sets are very sturdy.

Just a chip. First of many I’m sure. Wheels are typically the first to take damage from errant rocks potholes etc
