Hey all,
Recently acquired this cool 90s GT Karakoram frame with the og stickers and paint. I want to better protect and preserve the artwork from scratches and dings.
I plan on cleaning with mild detergent to remove grit and grease and spray with some kind of clear coat?
For a more polished look I was thinking wet sand w high grit but I feel less critical and secondary to just getting the art underneath some layers of sealant.
Any tips if you’ve done this before?

Art is in the eye of the beholder. I call that bike very well used, and wouldn’t bother.
Think calling it artwork is stretching the definition a lot.
It’s original in used condition but if you want more than that from it have it professionally stripped and repainted. NOS or reproduction graphics can almost always be found if you look hard enough.
