Hey guys !! i need a new hobby and thought i should get into mountain bikes !! Im really new so i dont know what to look for exactly but saw and heard that Trek is a good brand. The caption says TREK MBT 26” Wheels-Frame 17.5” Tires have great tread. 21 speed. Everything works well.
This is a 800 single track mountain bike that i found in my local Facebook Marketplace and i was hoping that you guys could help me out and see if its worth the $75 🙏🏻 or maybe giving me good options for mountain bikes anyways the help is very much appreciated thank you.

How tall are you? That will help in whether this bike is your size or not.
The current owner has this set up for ‘comfort,’ if you want to do actual mountain biking you’ll need to replace the saddle and stem, at minimum.
I wouldn’t buy this. Keep looking, and consider upping your budget a little.
