    Both can be very dependable. But the Jamis is gonna save you loads on off the bat repairs compared to the trek.

    The trek looks super weathered, wouldn’t be surprised if it needed the shifters flushed, new cables, tires, and brake pads. Also could only imagine the state that the wheel and headset bearings are in.

    The Jamis looks like it’s been produced within the last 10 years. If it has been to a shop at least 2-3 times in that span it should be running relatively smoothly.
