I recently bought the Ortlieb handlebar pack QR, and like a lot about the bag. The only issue being that it blocks my front light. Any suggestions on an adjustment I could make to resolve this, lowest cost option is preferable. I’ve considered getting a helmet mount light, however I want to avoid this if possible.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!!

Attach the light to your fork or upside down on the outside of your handlebars (the bottom of the curve).
I usually use something like this: [https://www.amazon.com/s?k=bar+extender+for+bike&crid=3CSBT27ODR4PG&sprefix=bar+extender%2Caps%2C136&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_12](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=bar+extender+for+bike&crid=3CSBT27ODR4PG&sprefix=bar+extender%2Caps%2C136&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_12)
Is the fork crown drilled?
There are a few low cost ($15 on the low end, Paul even has one for $30) light mounts that you can attach to mounting points on your fork. It’s not ideal if you’re doing single track riding or anything like that, but I like it for normal use.
if your light can work with a go pro mount you can get height extenders.
this is not cheap, and may not work with your light, but its an offset mount that bolts to your fork, [https://www.wizard.works/shop/accessories/baskets-racks/umbra-light-mount/?srsltid=AfmBOoq9n7hPAg9zIOyGfqpZTZ-Uh5jJq1MN7OURPlfxELVqPyAdJ1FL](https://www.wizard.works/shop/accessories/baskets-racks/umbra-light-mount/?srsltid=AfmBOoq9n7hPAg9zIOyGfqpZTZ-Uh5jJq1MN7OURPlfxELVqPyAdJ1FL)
Add a literal (leather-type) Belt over your Orange strap, and pop the light’s mount up-through that.
when I have my bike set up for bikepacking I put light on the drops of the handle bars .
Paul Gino Light Mount
Maybe try this thing? I’m kinda considering it also, as I have a similar issue on my touring bike
