I would pass and get a new entry level bike you’re interested in.

no, 800 dollars would get you a pretty good entry hardtail; can’t speak to the road bike, but the mountain bike is quite outdated at this point and needs a lot of service just to feel meh, which would you cost a lot more than what you paid

I am not super familiar with these exact model years, they seems to be higher trim older models. I would guess around 2015 for the stumpy? If you are ok with the older geometry leaning more towards an XC bike, I would say this is a pretty good deal. I would still do your homework on the exact bikes, if the seller has any information on the year and trim that would be super helpful. The Sirrus seems to still be a very solid bike as well if you are looking for an excellent commuter or prefer flat bar road bike. The stumpjumper will take some more consideration on what you expect the bike to do for your needs and most importantly if they are compatible with your size.
Ultimately do your research on the market values in your area, they seem to be solid bikes just a tad older which never scared me away. The geometry on the stumpy is pretty old so read up on what that would entail, I am not sure of your riding experience but that will effect this decision as well.
Based purely on the value of comparable bikes in my area, this is a very good deal. Good luck with your research!

People always say no to older mtb’s bc geometry is outdated which is funny cuz we road them just fine at the time… things to consider though is the suspension likely needs to be serviced which will cost at least a couple hundred bucks if you can’t do it yourself.
