That’s disappointing, but I think I know how to save it. Glue that to the end of a Lego person ‘s arm, it’ll look like a shield. Then glue the Lego person to your head badge. Instead of having a tiny head tube badge you’ll have the figurehead/prow to a tiny ship.

I almost did that once lol. Found a red and chrome one on eBay. Not official trek merchandise but no one will ever know.

I’ve made badges from plastic modelling clay- wrap it on an appropriately sized socket and bake it in the oven.

You can see if local used bike shops/co-ops have any frames destined for recycling that might have a vintage head badge you can scavenge.
