Hello everyone,

I’m excited to share that I’m now the proud owner of a Focus Atlas 6.7 (2024) Gravel Bike! As I start exploring its capabilities, I’m already thinking about potential upgrades.

What would you recommend as worthwhile modifications or improvements? Any must-have upgrades or tweaks that could enhance the ride?

Looking forward to your insights—thanks in advance for your advice!

  1. Bike fitting, pedals, saddle, bar tape, tubeless, tires, wheels, bike computer, second water bottle, Varia radar

A lock is pretty much useless on a bike this nice, because you shouldn’t leave it unattended anyway.

Since I own one let me tell you:

Swap the tires. I chose Conti TerraSpeed 45mm.
Get better wheels. I’m still on the stock wheels, but they are way too heavy.
Other than that you may wanna upgrade your contact points, but you will know if you need to.

The drivetrain is perfectly fine and is still going strong after over 10.000km. Only had to swap chains and one set of jockey wheels so far and I often ride in pretty bad conditions

On mine I added a bento box that screws in the top tube, a abus folding lock, and the kickstand mount on rear axle (I ride my bike to work, to grocery store, to friends’ houses, everywhere really so kickstand and lock very useful), and a out front mount for a garmin and a headlight. My next thing is the foxy adventure rack on the rear (if I can find one) or a normal rack. I personally don’t have a problem with the WTB riddler tires, and I got the 6.8 so it has some OEM DT Swiss Wheel sets I have no problem with.
