  1. I think you’re more likely to crash somewhere and bend the rim than to actually wear it out, making it unsafe to ride.

  2. They seem pretty good. Try to change pads more often so as to extend their life. New soft rubber pads is always better and not expensive upgrade celery couple of years

  3. I’ve never once heard of needing to replace aluminum rims because the braking surface wore out. It’s just not a thing.
