Just finished my first vintage fixed gear track build. What fun to track down and buy all the components. Wanted something comfortable and classy to ride on lazy summer days nice and easy. The only remaining question is: what bar tape and how to wrap it (partial, all, etc)…what color etc? Suggestions please

Brown/tan to match the Brooks saddle and the tan wall tyres. In fact Brooks make fancy leather bar tape.

Fi’zi:k 2mm Microtex classic, white
I’d go with an off-white /cream newbaums cloth wrap.
White cloth bar tape with amber shellac. Will be almost an exact match for the Brooks.
