  1. So it basically comes down to “do you want a 1x or 2x system”? The ergonomics are slightly different on the two group sets but not enough to make a significant influence to your decision.

    You’re going to get a lot of different answers and they’re all personal preference. There are advantages to both.

    The tires on the GRX are a higher quality (possibly a lot of the weight saving too), but you can change these easily no matter which bike you get.

    If you budget allows it, I would probably get the 2x GRX system as I feel they’re a little more versatile either with the bike loaded with cargo or on the road.

  2. White will look good until it gets dirty.

    Both group sets are good but personally I’d go for the GRX as it’s lighter and it has 2 chain rings.
    I have a GRX 400 (10 speed) gravel bike and I can’t say anything bad about it.
