Der Hebel am Schaltwerk ist dafür da, damit das Schaltwerk bei holprigen Gelände nicht rumschlattert. Ansonsten kann es sein, dass die Kette vorne abspringt.
Um das Rad zu entfernen, musst du den Hebel auf Off stellen. Am besten das Schaltwerk dann auf das kleinste Ritzel.
Dann an der Kappe ziehen. Es kommt dann ein Hebel raus.
Und da das ein englischer Sub ist:
The lever on the derailleur prevents the derailleur from moving around too much on rough terrain. Otherwise, the chain could come off the chainring.
To remove the wheel, set the lever to the Off position. Then, shift to the smallest sprocket.
