    First person has the “GoPro effect.” Third person is always more fun to watch for me.

    Don’t judge the pace? Coming from someone who hasn’t got out there yet but plans to this summer that looks fast.

  3. Rock the combination, edit it well, 1st person for the fast stuff, any cool technical stuff or jumps switch it to 3rd person so people can see the challenge and technique imo.

    Plus I feel like you’ll get tired of shooting 3rd person on everything really fast unless you just have a huge crew that can wait down sections of the trail etc.

    P.S. That place looks sick as hell, and you shred!

    Get both. The onboard (POV) is awesome, but sometimes seeing things are from a different perspective is eye opening. How many POV videos exist from Whistler? How many from people standing next to those crazy jumps? The stationary shots make you truly appreciate the magnitude of some of those conditions/jumps.
