So I'm planning a trip in April and was thinking about this route: https://bikepacking.com/routes/bikepacking-slovenia/
All seems well but in the comments I noticed someone saying that it might be too snowy in April still but also a good amount of comments saying they were planning to do it in April
Basically I was wondering if any of yous have any idea wether or not the weather will be alright then?
Also if it's not, does anyone have any other European route ideas which would be doable in April?
Thanks in advance!!

I did some tours around that time and tricky can be especially mountain peaks which might have bad weather or snow. On the other hand in alpine terrain you can always have quick weather changes.
Re Vrsc pass, which is on your route: I ve passed that one last year mid may. Its awesome to cycle, especially nice to ascent from north. Weather was fine then, no snow. Cold though on top and i needed a warm layer and wind jacket for the quite long descent.
As the pass is a relevant connection rute and only 1700m, my guess would be that they wouldnt close it easily. So you can pass, even its a bit cold on top.
If I were you,I d go late in April, but then it should work out.

If you are looking for top (mostly) stable weather and temperatures in spring, go to Mallorca, Gran Canaria and Southern Spain. Thats also where all the pro teams train.
