brought a cube c62 agree with cones with RFR pedals as pictured.
I was planning on buying NorthWave Extreme GT 2 shoes with Shimano SPD-SL cleats. Is this all compatible or am I making a mistake?
Sorry for the basic q, a total beginner entering the space 🙂

Those look like they should work. Shimano SPD-SL cleats come in red, yellow, and blue, and the main difference between them is the amount of float they allow. Float refers to the back-and-forth movement of your foot while clipped in. Question is how much float do you want to start out while getting used to being clipped in?
For shoes, you’re looking for what are generally called “road shoes” with a “3-bolt” pattern. SPD-SL=3 bolt. SPD=2 bolt
[They are Look Keo compatibel, so 3 bolt system, with either 0, 4.5 or 9 degrees of float (black,grey,red)](https://www.cube.eu/nl-nl/rfr-pedals-road-look-hpp/14223)
They are not spd-sl compatibel, you wont be able to clip out.
