Today I did a commute to my school on a rainy day with a steel frame bike and I kinda worried that it will rust, also I didn’t have any fenders on so my back is pretty messy from all the mud. any tips or advice is appreciated, thanks.

Fenders are a must. Wipe your frame and components down after your ride. Poncho. Maybe bring a change of clothes if it’s pouring.
