𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰, the crowd roaring, and the stage ablaze as 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗣𝗨𝗡𝗞 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗗 took the spotlight at the world-famous Burapa International Bike Week Festival in Pattaya, Thailand, on Thursday, February 13th, 2025. This trio of musical rebels left no stone unturned as they cranked out an unforgettable set of pure rock fury, blending blues, punk, and rock with relentless energy and originality.
𝗢𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁 (aka “𝗗𝗿. 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴”) from Ravensburg, Germany, laid down a gritty, thunderous groove that anchored the band’s hard-hitting sound. His precision and deep pocket kept the rhythm section locked in tight 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗦𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 (aka “𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝟭.7𝟱”) from Paisley, Scotland. John’s ferocious drumming was the heartbeat of the set, each beat landing like a sledgehammer on the crowd, driving the energy through the roof.
𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿 (aka “𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝘀”) who was the star of the night, commanding the stage with his searing guitar licks and unmistakable vocals. With his 3 custom guitars, all fitted with Vigil Arlo pickups—the 3-coil single Fender Strat “Angel”, the P90 Fender Strat “Red Back”, and the 59 Humbuckers in the Gibson Custom Black Beauty “Blackie Lee”, Nathan tore through the set with blistering solos and gritty, soulful riffs that electrified the audience. His vocal delivery was raw and passionate, effortlessly pulling the crowd into the rock ‘n’ roll frenzy.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲, showcasing the band’s signature mix of bluesy lyrics and punk-rock attitude. Highlights included the dark, boozy anthem Black Out Drunk, the haunting and rebellious Kingdom of the Dead, the gritty and defiant Black Sheep, and the swaggering, swampy Cat Fish Alley. Tracks like Blue Murder and Hoodoo Your Voodoo had the crowd dancing, while Bad Boy Boogie and the Slide guitar version of Rock N Roll Junkie captured the true spirit of rock ‘n’ roll, turning the stage into an inferno of sound.
