Hello, I really like this sub and I've always wanted to build old 26" MTB with drop bars, especially when there is ongoing competition on Youtube. I've done many projects usually with old 28" trekking and road bikes but never messed around with 26". Everything is stripped, cleaned, lubed and polished. My goal always was to invest as little as possible. So the bike was 25 Euro, shifters AliExpress 3×7 for around 25 euros and everything elsse from the "parts bin".

  1. Tires are Ralson Micro Octave 26×2.10. These are the best of the cheap tires sold in my coutry (15 euros for both) Great rolling, nice threads, low noise and the have puncture protection. I really wanted some Billy Bonkers or DTH but they are quite expensive for the purpose. The bike ride is very “responsive”. Its fast and goes through every obstacle that my city offers. I need to fix the breaking otherwise it’s perfect.
