Hello everybody the following issue appeared after that I’ve upgraded my hub to the ratchet ln system. When there is not a lot of force pushing the freehub body to the rest of the hub it works well though since the wheel isn’t properly tightened it does sometimes make the noise while cycling but doesn’t stick as bad as when I tighten the wheel. When I properly tighten my wheel and get tension on it the ratchet becomes really hard to move and sticks.

  1. I’ve had a similar problem in one of my wheels recently. I haven’t figured out how to fix it yet though

  2. Are you missing a hub end cap? Does the hub need a different end cap for the new setup? Are you sure you didn’t miss a spacer in there somewhere?

  3. I have encountered this when working on a customer’s rear wheel and had the same wheel not rotating issue. Not sure is you replaced this but one issue that can happen is the base of the ratcheting system can be threaded in to the rear hub upside down and there is a small lip on the side of the part that should face outwards towards the gears.
