    Bicycle Motocross

    I just remove my BMX from where it was stored during winter. Looks overall good but do I need to swap my chain ? It looks rusted.

      That chain is pretty shot. You could spray it with PB blaster real good if you can’t replace it right away

      Nah it’s only surface corrosion, get it lined (not 3/1 oil!) properly it’ll be fine. But chains aren’t expensive to replace if in any doubt

      I could never leave my bike outside like that. I remember when I was a kid that mf stayed in my room literally at the end of my bed lol

      Yeah I was going to say just give it a clean with a wire brush and you’d be good to go but after actually looking at the photos I’d say get a new chain as it’s better safe than sorry! Personally I swear by shadow interlock chains but not everyone is as fond of them as myself
