Test rode a Rocky Mountain Instinct today, size XS 27.5”. It fit well, but am really wanting to get an Ibis Ripley AF due to much better spec, great reviews, and the current sale (same price range as the Instinct). Looking at standover and reach geo measurements, the small size Ibis should fit, but no LBS can seem to get one in for me to test ride. Some manufacturers measure standover right up against the seat post so uncertain if the listed listed standover is accurate. If so, it’s much less than the Instinct. I am leaning toward just ordering a Ripley AF online, but the few shops I can find with them in stock do not offer a return policy on bikes.
Any riders in the 5’ height range have any feedback on Ibis Ripley AF small size fit?
