I believe the Bridgestone MB-1s are very collective and highly prized. If this be the case, I would clean them up, such as change out the tires and inner tubes, take soap and water, and gently wash down the frameset, degrease the rear and front derailleurs, perhaps buy a new chain, overhaul the ball bearings with new ones in the headset, BB and hubs and use Phil Wood grease, buy new cables, clean and polish the front and rear derailleurs, crankset, seatpost, stem, handlebars, hubs, rims, and brakeset and levers. If you see anything else that needs to be replaced, do so. New brake pads.
You could strip it all down and treat the inside of the frameset with boiled linseed oil as a preservative against rust. Let it dry thoroughly.
Take your time and get into the groove of the preservation to ride a time machine.
Ride one and store the other one as a backup.
It would be very nice to see more pictures of your two twins.

Awwwww! I love the fork(s) of that time.
Would like to offer you to swap one frame with a MB-1 that I have from 1988 😉 (but I’m in Europe anyway)
