No my time is worth more than tubes now so I’ll always buy a new one if needed.

Yes, I would, if it’s not a dry rotted mess. An inner tube isn’t that complicated.

Lol, _maybe_ a dry tube. But definitely not one that’s gonna have some dried up, gummy 20-year-old fix-a-flat inside of it

If it was a standard one, on a bike I didn’t really care about (like my steel gravel bike) then sure.
I fear that the slime or whatever goop makes that tire “puncture proof” is all dried up and is going to feel totally unbalanced, while also being heavy. IMO it’s garbage.

No, throw it away. Why take a chance!

If it holds air it holds air.

Id install it just to see what happens. Inflate it behind shrapnel protection though! 😛

No, i tried to use a 10yr tube that was stored inside and in a plastic container- it lasted two rides.

If the tube is still supple and the sealant is still still liquid. Its airtight so could be fine.

If it was stored in a dark spot and not in the light. If it was kept away from dry air and moisture.. if it holds air on first inflation up to pressure.. it’s probably fine.
That said, I wouldn’t mess around with a tube with sealant.

Yes. UV light is their main enemy.
