  1. I also dislike drop bars in, like, every way.

But I’ve yet to find a handlebar that’s both simple and versatile like them, and unfortunately, having my hands on the ‘shoulders’ is the most comfortable handlebar position I’ve ever used, seemingly exclusive to drop bars or bullhorns.

Otherwise, yeah, I mean drop bars suck ^^in ^^my ^^opinion

I’ve ridden road bikes/touring/gravel etc for years but after trying Jones bars to help with some reoccurring wrist pain and I’ll be damned is that hasn’t become my favorite go to bar. I still ride ultra wide ultra flared dirt drops but keep a pair of Jones around for multi day adventures on my mtb. Love your build

Unfortunately there is not one bike to rule them all. Gotta get another bike that suits dropbars I suppose.

  4. I currently have 12 bikes and on all but one I’ve gone to more upright cruiser bars. It is simply more comfortable and thus more fun.

I’ve tried to so many time to like drop bars. I’ve owned a few road bikes, tried dirt drops, alt bars and corner bars, I’ve come to the conclusion that I just like flat bars, so much more comfortable. I do miss the aero benefits and hand positions though. All of my bikes run flat bars now.

  6. I’ve literally tried 30 plus drop bars, stems, headset spacers, 20 plus bikes – and it turns out my wrists just hate drops. Put Nitto Albatross on my main bike and never looking back.

I’m about to build up he Bombora I’ve had for years. What riser bars are those??
