In canada and the US, there is an argument you can’t build bike infastructure because it is only worth it in places with hugh density. Which most of Canada and The US is not. But the thing is, in the bike-friendly netherlands, there are bike lanes everywhere. Not just in the super dense parts of the netherlands.
Now that is something you don’t see every day.
