Is that a brand new bike? If so I’d bring it up with the manufacturer.
If it’s used, find a shop to service the shock and check the mounting hardware and frame for damage/wear.

its air in the oil, can happen from time to time, needs a service. if its been like that from day 1 its most likely a bad bleed form the factory.
the sound you hear is air going thru the shimstack inside the damper.

Is it at around 20-30% sag, and do you hear the noise for longer if you compress the shock slower? And do you hear the noise for a shorter time if you compress the shock quickly?
If the answer to all of those is yes, that’s completely normal, there are a lot of threads asking the same question.
There is oil and grease in the air chamber, what you hear is that sludge going back and forth between the positive and negative air chambers through the transfer port.
