Hi,
So I was horrified to see what I believe was a bit of surface rust near the bottom bracket weld on my Holy Diver.
I’ve attached pics of the before and after as I’ve now treated it with rust remover and coated it with a clear metal lacquer.
I’d just like opinions on whether in the before pic, it appears to have just been surface rust as overall, I’m happy with the finish!!!

It’s surface rust, unfortunately clear and coloured Lacquer paint finished frames are massively prone to surface corrosion, as it’s the only paint layer and easily chips letting the atmosphere get to the untreated metal.
Just clean it and dry it well and put some clear nail polish on top
