the parts removed from it have been donated, not thrown away. the decals were in very poor state to be saved.
now it is much more fun to ride, upright, on the city (as opposed to someone else’s basement as it was hidden for the past 20 years).
lots of mechanical skills have been learnt from scratch from here, and thanks to one local coop workshop for borrowing tools and vintage bike knowledge.

Looking good! You *might* be more comfortable if you angle the brake levers down so your wrist is flat.
