It won’t. The Giant comes with a Tourney freewheel cassette which screws on to the rear hub, whereas the Acera cassette uses the HG freehub where the sprockets line up with splines instead of screwing on.
You would basically need a compatible rear hub in order for this to work, so it’d be cheaper for you to buy a new rear rim TBH.
