I noticed these marks (slices?) on one section of my rear tire when pumping them up just now. I’ve never seen marks or damage like this before. They aren’t that deep I think, well at least I can’t see any thread. It’s the rear tire and I don’t remember skidding on glass or anything like that. Tire is Pirelli P7 and only about 3 months old.
I guess I should ask if it’s safe to ride as well.
Appreciate any help please.

No more rear brake for you, for at least 3 month, so you learn to ride a bike!
