My step brother is selling for 550$ (Canada), its equipped with full shimano 600. It's an old carbon frame and in a bit worried about catastrophic failures but overall its very clean and no apparent damage to the frame. My main concern is safety and durability of the carbon aluminium assembly

550 seams a lil steep, but cool bike overall.
It’s a cool clean bike for retro value, but only for display or gentle cruising to the shops IMO. You’ve obviously inspected it and would have some idea of the condition of the carbon/junctions in terms of any likelihood of catastrophic failure. Pay what that functionality is worth to you.
