I’m considering a 2019 Cannondale Synapse Carbon (size 51) for my wife (5’6”). The seller is asking $1100.
Does this seem like a fair price for the bike? Also, would the 51 cm frame be a good fit for her height, or should I be looking at a 54 instead?
Any advice on value, fit, or things to check before buying would be appreciated!

We’re also looking at a Cannondale CAAD13 with shimano 105 with hydraulic disc breaks for $1150. Any thoughts would be much appreciated
I like the bike. I don’t like the stem nor the price. It’s not a terrible price but I’d pay around 800 max but that’s just me.
51cm is perfect. My wife is 5’6 and she rides my 54 and it’s for sure too big but she makes it work.

Not sure how helpful this is but I recently sold my 2018 Synapse Carbon 105 for $850
It was definitely in a used state. Had some minor paint chips etc Overall was mechanically sound though and operated perfectly
