Planning a ride from Rhode Island to Washington, D.C. in April and looking for some route and camping insight. I have chatted with someone who has done this ride before, and have used their route as my base. I will be riding on a pair of Schwalbe G-ONE RS, so light gravel and bumpy backroads are super welcome as I want to stay off main roads. I also plan on camping when I can, but not opposed to other options for sleeping. Love a good general store and small towns.
Disclosure: I did post this is another subreddit and was given the note to stay on the river path down by DC, which I plan on doing, but haven’t updated the route.
