Hi! Title says it all, I’m looking around for flat pedal shoe recommendations.
**First some background:**
I mostly ride around town in very lightweight sneakers (Adidas Terrex something) with laces so long that they might cause a crash, but I’ve been wanting something with a bit more… power transfer, I guess- for the all-day rides, but that still isn’t too bulky like I’ve heard some flat pedal shoes are.
I don’t want to go clipless, at least not just yet. On long rides I foresee a lot of refueling breaks, lunch, sightseeing, heck maybe light hiking, so I want to stay with “normal” shoes if possible. Also trying to clip in on a climb and falling scares me.
The [Crankbrother Stamp Fabio](https://www.all4cycling.com/en/products/scarpe-crank-brothers-stamp-street-fabio-wibmer-nero?variant=42027767955638%20Hello!%20Title%20says%20it) seems like a good choice, though I’m concerned about the price and some comments saying that it’s not very stiff. To sum it up, **two questions**:
1. Does anyone have experience with the Stamp? How does it fare on long rides?
2. Any other recommendations for fairly stiff but sleek shoes? Skateboarding shoes are OK too!
p.s. Sub seems a bit more racewear-oriented (or I didn’t read far enough), so apologies if this isn’t the right place for a question like this. Big thanks and all opinions are welcome!
