  2. If you want something that racy it’s a good budget choice. But if you want something comfortable for very long rides maybe it’s not the best.

    It’s a very good beginner bike if it was built up right, but it is built up with the absolute wrong crap derailleurs that are incompatible with the good 4700 shift levers.

    The Tiagra 4700 levers requires front and rear derailleurs that uses Shimano’s 11-speed long cable pull to work correctly. Whoever put that bike together used the old short-pull front and rear derailleurs that will never shift correctly with the 4700 levers.

    The front and rear derailleurs need to be replaced for the bike to work correctly. [I recommend putting the latest Shimano 105 R7100 front and rear derailleurs on that bike](https://v.redd.it/k9xoqycn1b8e1) to get it working correctly.

    As it is right now that bike will shift like absolute shit. No joke.
