When adjusting the headset, has anyone else found that it takes much more than 12nM to loosen the bolt after riding for a while since last adjusting it?
I just went to loosen the headset to add a spacer and my Pro Team Digital Torque Wrench (a Shimano brand) T25 bit snapped before I could loosen the bolt! Now part of the damn bit is stuck in the bolt!

Isn’t it a 4 mm hex key?

Happened to me once. I took it to a canyon service partner bike shop, contacted Canyon. They managed to loosen the bolt, then installed a replacement. Canyon covered the cost.
I have no idea why this happened. I would guess there wasn’t enough lube/anti-seize grease when they installed the clamp. When I broke my tool, it clearly required much more than reasonable force. And it was the first time I try to adjust the cockpit, which was within one month after I got the bike.
After the replacement I make sure I have enough anti-seize grease there and haven’t have a problem yet. It’s been one year and I’ve adjusted it a few times.
