  1. I wanted to share a video I recently made about the 8.6kg Superlight I have (my wife’s commute bike). The main thing was going over some budget weight saving options for the Brompton that have worked for us.

Here’s the spreadsheet for the parts I used and how much weight was saved off each part. Keep in mind I am swapping out old Superlight components so the exact weight saving off your bike could be different: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vJ3MWhhoGeNZ4qehN7b-zJx8OL4K-Z9VRhUiogyDeWU/edit?gid=0#gid=0](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1vJ3MWhhoGeNZ4qehN7b-zJx8OL4K-Z9VRhUiogyDeWU/edit?gid=0#gid=0)

This is awesome, thank you. Are you sure about the 8.6kg though? It seems very light!

I’m currently putting my 4 speed p-line on a diet as well but struggling to get it below 9kg. That’s with the original crank set, brakes and stem, but still.

    Stock: 10kg
    Removed: block, reflectors
Replaced: carbon seat post, lightweight saddle, easy wheels, lighter clamps, headset, bottom bracket, even lighter Goodyear F1R tyres and 19g TPUs
Already lightweight: p line super light pedals, super light handles, titanium fork and triangle, p line aero wheels, S bar

I can see another 400-500 gram by replacing the stem, brakes and crankset which would only put the P-line on par with your superlight, but that’s about it!
