I have a Giant TCR Advanced Disc 2 2021 and these are the factory Giant PR-2 Wheels. I’ve checked every Reddit post and forum topic but I can’t figure it out. Each end cap is off and hammering it doesn’t help. My feeling says the thru axle must come out first but that’s not coming loose. If it’s true then this is the body: [https://www.giantbikespares.com/Giant-Freehub-Body-for-R29-R_-M10-R_-R18R32–152A-11SP12-03/product_detail/3-45875](https://www.giantbikespares.com/Giant-Freehub-Body-for-R29-R_-M10-R_-R18R32–152A-11SP12-03/product_detail/3-45875)
SUCTION228 on
Why do you need to remove it? Its not possible without proper tools. You need to remove cones from rotor side with 19 or 17mm cone wrench, pull up the axle to right side, take away right side sealed bering with reverse hammer. Then if you want to remove the freehub body, you need 12 or 14mm hex. If you want to service freehub body, you need shimano freehub body removing tool, spinning it clockwise.
