A drone, Land Rover, quad bike and dedicated police officers are being used to tackle illegal off-roading in Torfaen, Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly in a new £122,250 project. The three councils have teamed up to use a grant from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. The project is being led by Torfaen Council and will see a PC and police community support officer based in the upland area for 60 per cent of their time.
