I love my bike, but the pedals are kinda small. My feet are size 13 shoes size, and the pedals seem a bit smaller than they could potentially be. Can I get different pedals for this bike and put them on myself or have it done at a bike shop?

Also, can I do something so it has better suspension?
Yes, there are wider pedals and yes, a bike shop can quickly and easily swap them in when you purchase them (The only things needed for a pedal swap are a pedal wrench and some grease). The drawback to wider pedals is that the wider they are, the more likely they are to strike the ground when you pedal and turn at the same timeāthe lean of the bike can quickly bring that inside pedal down to ground level and it becomes a safety hazard. I mean, I doubt you are getting a big lean with that machine, but it’s still a risk.
Yes. There are MTB pedals with larger platforms. Check out Crankbrothers Stamp large
They also make pedal extenders that go between the pedal and the crank arm to give you a little more room for your feet. I used them in the past to help with knee pain
Was there a fire near your fork?
